A Strong Foundation and a Thoughtful Transition at Ronald McDonald House Central Texas
Dear Friends,
I am writing to share that I will be stepping away from my role as CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas on February 20th, 2026.
Serving this organization over the past two years has been an incredible honor. During this time, RMHC CTX has strengthened its financial and programmatic foundation, expanded its capacity to serve families, and positioned itself for continued, long-term impact. None of this progress would have been possible without the generosity of donors like you, the dedication of our volunteers and staff, and the commitment of our community partners. Together, you have ensured that families facing medical crises find comfort, stability, and hope when they need it most.
To ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, the Board of Directors has appointed Kristin Coulter ,our current Chief Operating Officer, as Interim CEO. Kristin brings exceptional institutional knowledge and steady leadership. Most importantly, she understands our mission not only professionally, but personally — as a former RMHC family herself. Having experienced the House during her own family’s time of need, she leads with both operational expertise and lived understanding of the impact this organization has on families.
RMHC CTX is in a strong position today and well prepared for the future. With a solid foundation, a dedicated team, and steadfast community support, the organization will continue to provide comfort, care, and support to families of children receiving medical treatment across Central Texas.
I am deeply grateful for your partnership and your belief in this mission. I remain confident in RMHC CTX’s future and look forward to cheering on the organization — and Kristin — in the years ahead.
Thomas Kim
